Job description
ToolmakerOur client is a family founded and operated tool and die machine shop known for quality, on-time response, and precision machining. Incorporated in 1985, they are located in Waterbury, Connecticut.Our advanced techniques include Wire EDM, Conventional EDM, CNC Machining, and other traditional processes. We convert your specifications and designs into superior products.In the manufacturing process we utilize common as well as exotic materials including: Carbide, Aluminum, Delrin, Titanium, Tantalum, Steel, silver, and Inconel, among others.Our work is done onsite, including carbide and heat treatment. We have complete control throughout the production process. In-house operations eliminate the need to ship to outside services. The result:Reduced lead time and cost,Speed of delivery,Reduction or elimination of customer down timeThey are currently seeking a fully qualified toolmaker knowledgeable in carbide and steel toolmaking who must be proficient running conventional EDM machines. This individual will work in a small carbide department manufacturing custom carbide and steel tooling. Qualified candidates require the ability to produce precision parts to blue print specifications.Our client currently offers full benefits including medical, dental, and employee sponsored IRA plan.
