Job description
Carbon - Machine OperatorJoin a world leader in aircraft landing and braking systems within the Carbon Division. This role involves overseeing automated processes, with a focus on CNC setup and machine operation. Be part of a team dedicated to designing, manufacturing, and supporting more than 23,000 aircraft, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.ResponsibilitiesOperate and oversee CNC machines, ensuring smooth and efficient production.Conduct quality inspections and ensure products meet blueprint specifications.Perform data entry tasks related to machine operations.Utilize various gauges, micrometers, and calipers for accurate measurements.Match parts to prints to ensure precision and accuracy in production.Essential Skills6 months to 1 year of experience in machine operation or production/manufacturing.Experience in matching parts to prints.Familiarity with different types of gauges, micrometers, and calipers.Competency in using computers for data entry.Ability to stand and walk for the majority of a 12-hour rotating shift.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in setting up CNC machines.Knowledge of machine controls and tools.Familiarity with robotic controls.Why Work Here?Our workplace offers an engaging culture with a focus on employee appreciation, feedback, and recognition.
