Card Services Specialist IStock Yards Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: SYBT), parent company of Stock Yards Bank & Trust Company, with offices in Louisville, Central, Eastern and Northern Kentucky, as well as the Indianapolis, Indiana and Cincinnati, Ohio metropolitan markets.FLSA Status: Non-ExemptDepartment: Card ServicesHours of Operation: 40 Hours per WeekGeneral Job Summary: Provide clerical processing and customer service support for cards.Organizational Duties and Responsibilities:Support the mission, vision and philosophy of the Bank. Complies willingly with all organizational policies and procedures.Support all functions that maintain compliance with regulatory agencies.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Answer incoming phone calls from internal and external clientsMonitor email inboxes, respond to requests via Outlook and phoneSetup new accounts, perform maintenance, produce and mail plastics - utilizing software and equipment for instant issuance of cardsMaintain and monitor card stockProcess credit card paymentsBalance and reconcile General Ledger accountsAudit fraud disputes and track Bank lossesResearch and analyze card functionality for clients – address concerns and articulate issues/solutionsOther Functions (as needed):Maintain procedural updates related to Cards (as needed)Special projects as requiredWorking Conditions:All job functions are performed daily at employee's workspace using various computer applications and printers.Minimum Job Requirements:Education: High School diploma or GEDExperience: 1 year of banking experience preferredSpecific Skills:Ability to communicate complicated ideas simply - in writing or verballyProficient problem-solving skillsMaintains appropriate risk exposure for BankWorking knowledge of Excel, Outlook, and WordSelf-motivated, dependable, detail-oriented, and eagerness to learnSpecialized:Operational knowledge of cards and software associated with production and maintenance of themPhysical Requirements:Primarily sedentary work performed in an office environmentAbility to sit for extended periods of time while working at a computerFrequent use of hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse, and other office equipmentAbility to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with clients, team members, and vendors via phone, video, and in personVisual acuity sufficient to read computer screens, printed documents, and financial dataOccasional standing, walking, bending, or reachingAbility to lift and carry up to 10–15 pounds occasionally (e.g., files, office supplies)Benefits:401(K) with a company match of up to 6%ESOP employer matchMedical insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceCancer/Disease insuranceAccident insuranceFlexible Spending AccountsFlexible Savings AccountsHealth Savings AccountsBank paid Life/AD&D insuranceVoluntary Life/AD&D insuranceBank paid Short-Term and Long-Term Disability insuranceEmployee Stock Purchase PlanEmployee Assistance Program
