Job DescriptionCardiac Anaesthesiologist – Albany, New YorkPosition Overview\ NWe are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join a leading cardiovascular program in Albany, New York . This is an outstanding opportunity to become part of a highly collaborative team providing anesthesia care for a broad range of complex cardiac and thoracic procedures. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering exceptional perioperative care while working alongside experienced cardiac surgeons, interventional cardiologists, intensivists, perfusionists, and advanced practice providers.

\ N Responsibilities Provide anesthesia care for adult cardiac and major thoracic surgical procedures
\ N Perform comprehensive preoperative evaluations and risk assessments
\ N Administer and manage general anesthesia for:\ N Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG)
\ N Valve repair and replacement
\ N Aortic surgery
Structural heart procedures
\ N Minimally invasive and robotic cardiac procedures
\ N
Perform and interpret perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE)
\ N Manage invasive hemodynamic monitoring and cardiovascular support
\ N Collaborate closely with cardiac surgeons, intensivists, perfusionists, and nursing teams
\ N Participate in postoperative critical care management as needed
\ N Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with quality and safety standards
\ N Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school
\ N Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology residency
\ N Fellowship training in Cardiac Anesthesiology preferred
\ N Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
\ N Certification or eligibility for Advanced Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography (PTEeXAM/NBE) preferred
\ N Eligible for or currently licensed to practice medicine in New York
\ N DEA certification (or eligibility)
