Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Community hospital experience is required. Proficient in coronary diagnostic/intervention scrub and monitor. Fuji Vidistar experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: MAC Lab experience preferred.

Required Credentials: If you have RCIS, state license is not required.

Special Requests: RTO is due at time of submission. All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs. Any candidate that has 7+ days and/or includes holiday RTO will have to be submitted to the facility for approval and can delay the process. Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November; peak: August–September). If unavailable for emergency response duties, please do not confirm new assignments or extensions during this period. If your start date is within 90 days, you must complete all labs within 72 hours of signing an offer with MUSC.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Daily caseload per tech: We run 4 to 5 labs per day with 2-3 CVT per lab. Case load is around 20-25 cases per day. Diagnostic & interventional coronary cath, diagnostic and interventional vascular, angioplasty, shockwave, temp pacer, IABP, Impella, carotid angiogram, atherectomy, intravascular US (IVUS), FFR/IFR, pericardiocentesis, cardiac biopsies.

Shift & Scheduling: Rotating 4x10 day shifts & ) but varies as we stay until procedures are complete. All team members rotate the shifts but not from day to day. 9:30-8 shifts are grouped together into one week for consistency; the following week may be on 1st shift. Call required: 1 weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun) per 7 weeks and 1 evening shift per week. Call requirements may change based on staffing needs. Holidays as needed.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
