Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple locations
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience: - Candidates with 1 year of Cath Lab experience are accepted if they have prior travel experience; first-time travelers need 2+ years of Cath Lab experience. - Experience with the listed cath lab and EP cases, including the ability to scrub and operate the table simultaneously.
Preferred Skills/Experience: - Monitoring experience preferred.
Required Credentials: - If you have RCIS, state license is not required.
Special Requests: - Any RTO or special requests not included on your application will NOT be considered. - RTO requests must go through the manager. - You can only have 1 active application for the same position (same unit & shift at the same facility). Example: if you apply for day shift, you can also apply for night shift on the same unit and facility, but you cannot apply for another day shift position on the same unit & facility.
Unit Details: - Cath Lab cases include diagnostic/interventional procedures, LHC/RHC, NSTEMI and STEMI, Impella, IABPs, Rotablator, CTOs/staged PCI, shockwave, temporary pacemakers, peripheral leg diagnostic/interventional procedures, and loop recorders. EP cases include Micra, pacemakers, AICDs, lead extractions/revisions, and generator changes. - Approximately 8 cases are performed per day. - Unit support includes a scheduler, charge nurse/lead tech, 24/7 respiratory therapy and hospitalist coverage, intensivists, a cardiologist on call and present during the day, RRT and code team support as needed, and a transporter. Technologists may help transport their own patients who are on telemetry monitors. - Equipment and systems include Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing, Picom PACS, Merge hemodynamic monitoring, and a GE Alea C-arm.
Shift & Scheduling: - Shift times could be or , depending on whether you are on call. If on call for that night, the later shift applies. - Weekday call is once per week, Monday-Thursday, through 0700 the following morning. - Weekend rotation is call only; weekend call is every 6th weekend, from end of shift Friday through Monday at 0700. - Call requires a 30-minute response time and a 3-person call team consisting of 2 techs and 1 RN. - No sleep room is available, but the Admit/Recovery unit may be used if necessary. - One holiday per contract is required, call only. - A rotating day off is scheduled each week. - Buddy call is optional during the first week; independent call is required during the second week.
Floating Requirements: - There is a possibility of floating to Auburn Cath Lab (15 minutes away). You will know in advance if floating is needed. Floating could occur a maximum of once per week but might not be needed.
