Job description

Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.
• Travel experience is preferred.
• Experience with Meditech is preferred.
• Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Kentucky license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Preferred Skills/Experience: IR experience is a plus. Teaching hospital experience is preferred. Community hospital experience is preferred.
Preferred Credentials: AVADE preferred.
Special Requests: You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Travel Pairs will not be accepted on the same shift or unit. You must have housing within 30 minutes for STEMI (heart attack) call. Assignment confirmation needs to be signed within 24 hours of an offer.
Shift & Scheduling: You must be willing to accept 84 hours per two weeks scheduling (one-week 3x12, next week 4x12). Monday-Friday. Call required: 1 weekday/ 1 weekend month. 1-2 weekends per month.
Floating Requirements: Float required within scope of practice.
Unit Details: The Cath Lab will provide a lead apron for cases. Adult and geriatric patient population. Ratios can fluctuate with census, call-ins, etc.
14 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
