Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• BSN completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - One year of RN experience in telemetry, critical care, cardiac cath lab, ER, or OR is required. - Cardiac interventional cath experience is required. - Experience scrubbing in for procedures is required.

Preferred Credentials: - Critical Care Course preferred.

Unit Details: - The RN functions independently as a scrub nurse and circulator. - Philips is the primary imaging equipment used throughout the unit. - Typical procedures include diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, CTO and high-risk interventional cardiac catheterization, pacemaker implants including leadless devices, Watchman procedures, atrial and ventricular ablations, tilt tests, TEEs, pulmonary embolism thrombectomies, and vascular endovascular procedures. - Clinical work includes intra-aortic balloon pump, chest tube, and Impella insertion; hemodynamic monitoring; TAVR; transvenous and temporary pacing; conscious sedation; and advanced respiratory modalities. - Patient population includes adults and geriatric patients.

Shift & Scheduling: - Call schedule will be discussed in the interview; at least 1 weekday call shift and 1 or more weekend call shifts per month are required. - On-call coverage includes emergency and urgent procedures on weekends, nights, and holidays. - Must respond to STEMI call-backs in less than 30 minutes.

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
