Job description

Shift: 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.
• BSN completion required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 24 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Required Credentials: - BSN
Unit Details: - The assignment includes cardiac catheterization lab preparation and recovery. - Cares for and monitors patients receiving and recovering from moderate sedation. - Assesses, monitors, and removes arterial and venous sheaths. - Point-of-care testing includes glucose, ACT/ISTAT, and UHCG. - Prepares patients for procedures with correct labs, IV placement, and shaving. - Assists the MD or PA with bedside procedures, including understanding needed supplies, ordering specimens, and required hemodynamic monitoring during procedures.
Shift & Scheduling: - Monday-Friday. - No holiday shifts.
Floating Requirements: - Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between the following sites: Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital. The Carle Leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations.
7 days maximum time off. Maximum consecutive days off: 3
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
Driver’s license required
