Job description

Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 15 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.
• Experience with Epic is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: - 15 months of Cath Lab, critical care and/or PACU experience in a hospital or medical center setting required. - Pre- and post-op/recovery experience required. - Groin and radial site management required. - TR band management experience required. - First-time travelers are welcomed with at least 36 months of experience.
Preferred Skills/Experience: - Recent/current Cardiac Cath or cardiac post-op care experience highly preferred.
Special Requests: - Past UnityPoint Health employees who were FTEs or PRN in the UnityPoint Health float pool cannot work a travel assignment in another market, regardless of which facility they currently work at or worked at within the past 12 months. This policy does not apply if their prior UnityPoint Health work was in a travel assignment rather than as an FTE or PRN employee.
Unit Details: - Patient types include pre-/post-heart cath, cardiac cath, and possibly EP cases.
Shift & Scheduling: - Monday-Friday schedule with no weekends or call. - Start time may be later based on cases. - Holiday rotation applies; unless the unit is closed, clinicians must work 1-2 of the 3 upcoming winter holidays.
Floating Requirements: - Primary care is Cardiac Holding, with possible floating across Vascular Holding and Diagnostic Cardiology.
14 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
Driver’s license required for submission

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
