Job description

Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.
• Travel experience is preferred.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
• Trauma Level 2 experience is required.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: - 24 months of current Cardiac Cath/CCL experience required. - Circulating and monitoring experience required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: - Structural heart experience highly preferred. - EP experience highly preferred. - Scrubbing experience preferred. - Trauma Level I experience preferred.
Special Requests: - Blocked scheduling cannot be promised. - Any past UnityPoint Health employee who was an FTE or PRN member of the UnityPoint Health float pool cannot work travel in another market, regardless of which facility they currently work at or have worked at within the past 12 months. This separation policy does not apply to those who worked travel at UnityPoint Health rather than as an FTE or PRN member.
Unit Details: - Precept as needed.
Shift & Scheduling: - Monday-Friday schedule with a random day off during the week. - Unless the unit is closed, you are required to work 1-2 of the 3 upcoming winter holidays. - On-call includes 1-2 nights/week and every 3rd weekend from 7:30p Friday through 7a Monday; assigned cases occur on rare occasions.
Floating Requirements: - You must be willing to float across all Des Moines campuses to like units if needed; the campuses are minutes from one another.
14 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
Driver’s license required for submission
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
