Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience with any experience within the last 4 months.
• Experience with Epic is required.
• BSN completion preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

Additional Details:
Preferred Skills/Experience: Critical care, medical-surgical, or Cardiac Cath Lab/Special Procedures experience preferred.
Unit Details: The department performs before-, during-, and after-care for invasive, interventional, and therapeutic procedures and studies involving cardiac, vascular arterial and venous, and structural heart disorders; cardiac rhythm abnormalities; device and lead implantation and removal; and therapeutic catheter ablations. Patient population includes various age groups. The role includes connecting EKG leads, monitoring patients, analyzing EKGs and hemodynamic parameters, reporting changes in patient condition to the physician, and calculating shunt and valve data. The unit uses the MIDAS system and specialized equipment including a Datascope intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), Baxter cardiac output, an automated coagulation timer (ACT) machine, an American Optical Unistat oximeter, a Medrad injector, Life Pak, a defibrillator, Sony digital systems, and a GE Advantx X-ray system.
Shift & Scheduling: Shift options are 07-17:30, 08-18:30, or 09-19:30, with call; shifts are staggered based on case start times.
Floating Requirements: You may be required to float to Adventist Health locations within 30 miles.
14 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years
1 Manager reference required from within the last 2 years
Driver’s license required
