Cardiac Critical Care Intensivist Opportunity in Bridgeport, Connecticut We invite board certified/board eligibleCritical Care Intensivists,with experience in caring for cardiothoracic surgery patients, to learn more about this outstanding opportunity to join Hartford HealthCare’s Heart & Vascular Institute (HVI) , a national leader in cardiovascular disease prevention, treatment, surgery, and research, providing personalized care to more patients and performing more advanced cardiac procedures than any other cardiac program in Connecticut*.** Hartford HealthCare’s Heart & Vascular Institute (HVI)*is seeking a full-time Critical Care Intensivist to join our growing intensivist team. This position will focus on delivering superb clinical care to a diverse, medically complex patient population, supported by the highest-caliber cardiovascular invasive, diagnostic, and surgical services in a collaborative and multidisciplinary setting. Position Details and Requirements: * Opportunity for a BC/BE Critical Care physician to join a team of collegial and highly trained ICU staff at St. Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center * Care for patients with complex cardiovascular disease which can include pre- and post-operative care * Successful candidate will be able to place chest tubes and perform bronchoscopy * The system-wide Heart and Vascular Institute is one of the strongest programs in the country, performing over 1500 surgeries per year.
