nLocation: 908 N. Elm St., Ste. 404, Hinsdale, IL
nSchedule: PRN as needed; Mon-Thurs 8:30am-5pm, Fri 8am-4:30pm
nEP/cardiac device experience required
nnnPerforms general nursing activities, ensuring quality care and efficient/timely flow of patients.
n
nnAssists Cardiologist and APPs with in-office procedures and ancillary clinics.
n
nnSupervises nuclear stress tests, treadmill stress tests, stress echos, and chemical stress tests in the outpatient practice setting.
n
nnReads and interprets electrocardiograms. Interrogates and adjusts pacemaker and/or defibrillator devices in collaboration with
n
nnCardiologist. Uses proper injection techniques and maintains sterile technique.
n
nnProvides post-procedural follow-up care in the outpatient practice setting.
n
nnInterprets, monitors, and adjusts anticoagulation therapy under the direction of the Cardiologist.
n
nnPrepares equipment and aids Physicians during treatment, examination, and testing of patients.
n
nnMaintains and securely controls medical supplies and medication counts, with adequate supporting records.
n
nnCommunicates with courtesy when interacting with internal or external patients and customers in person or on the telephone.
n
nnMaintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
n
nnOther duties as assigned.

n nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
nnnAbility to supervise exercise stress tests including nuclear stress tests, treadmill stress tests, stress echos and chemical stress tests.
n
nnAbility to read and interpret electrocardiograms. (Required)
n
nnAbility to interrogate and adjust pacemaker and/or defibrillator devices (Preferred)
n
n nEducation:
nnBachelor's of Nursing (Preferred)
n nField of Study:
nngraduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
n nWork Experience:
nnn1+ year experience with supervision of exercise stress tests including nuclear stress tests, treadmill stress tests, stress echos and chemical stress tests. (Preferred)
n
nn2+ years professional nursing experience; cardiology office/clinic (Preferred)
n
nn5+ years of experience in ICU/CCU/ER (Preferred)
n
n nLicenses and Certifications:
nnnRegistered Nurse (RN) (Required)
n
nnBasic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) (Required)
n
nnAdvanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) (Required)
n
