Overview:
Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists. Responsibilities:

* Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program Required
Work Experience
* 1 year of related experience as a hospital inpatient or outpatient / ambulatory cardiac sonographer Required
Licenses and Certifications
* BCLS - Basic Life Support Required and
* RCS - Registered Cardiac Sonographer Required or
* ARDCS - Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Required or
* CCI - Cardiovascular Credentialing International Required
