Job description

Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Experience:
• 18 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• Experience with Epic is required.
• Trauma Level 2 experience is required.
Requirements:
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Strong experience and proficiency using Philips equipment required. First-time travelers welcomed with at least 24 mos experience, minimum!
Preferred Skills/Experience: Level I trauma experience preferred.
Special Requests: Any past employee of UPH, whether FTE or PRN for the UPH float pool, cannot work travel in another market, no matter which facility they currently work at or have worked at within the past 12 months. If they worked travel at UPH (not FTE or PRN), the separation policy does not apply.
Unit Details: The patient population is inpatient and ranges from 18 - 100+ years of age. There are an average of 7 cases/day, with potential for more or less depending on volume. The clinician will be working independently for this contract and should be comfortable working independently with minimal supervision. Equipment includes Philips. Uses Xcelera charting system.
Shift & Scheduling: Monday-Friday schedule; no call or weekend shifts. The contractor is required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming winter holidays unless the unit is closed.
Floating Requirements: The traveler may be required to float across all campuses when needed/scheduled, including Iowa Methodist MC, Iowa Lutheran, and Iowa Methodist.
14 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
Driver’s license required for submission

• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS))
