Shift: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

• High School completion required.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - TAVR TTE experience scanning severe to critical aortic stenosis patients before TAVR treatment is required. - Dedicated inpatient echocardiography experience is required, with a minimum of 200 inpatient echocardiography cases. - Adult echocardiography experience following ASE and IAC guidelines is required. - Proficiency in valvular assessment with strong spectral Doppler and Pedoff skills is required. - Experience with contrast echocardiography and agitated saline studies is required. - The ability to recognize abnormalities and respond quickly to critical findings is required. - Either extensive echocardiography experience or prior work at a valve center or structural heart facility is required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - TEE and stress echocardiography experience is preferred. - Familiarity with 3D echocardiography imaging is preferred. - Experience with TAVR, Mitral Clip, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, VAD, and closure device protocols is preferred. - Familiarity with maintaining ICAEL-accredited echocardiography lab standards is preferred.

Required Credentials: - High School Diploma or GED required. - Registered Cardiac Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) is required.

Preferred Credentials: - Graduate of CAAHEP or ABHES Cardiovascular Technology Program preferred.

Unit Details: - Adult cardiac sonography work includes patient preparation, procedure explanation, and continuous monitoring throughout examinations. - Daily work includes reviewing prior reports, images, and patient charts; ensuring complete studies using appropriate techniques; and notifying the reader when needed. - Patients include severe to critical aortic stenosis cases preparing for TAVR. - Equipment includes Philips iE33 and EPIQ echocardiography systems.

Shift & Scheduling: - Scheduled Thursday through Sunday. - On-call is not required.

14 days maximum time off

Certifications:

• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certification RCS

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
