Job description

Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
• AS completion required.
Requirements:
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 24 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Temp Illinois licensure is not accepted.
Required Credentials:
Associate's Degree in Sonography.
Unit Details:
Performs all forms of echo testing, including exercise stress, dobutamine stress, echocardiograms, pediatric echocardiograms, and transesophageal echocardiograms.
Administers contrast when needed and not contraindicated.
Uses Xcelera to enter preliminary information for physician reading.
Cross-trains to other divisions of cardiovascular services.
Shift & Scheduling:
The schedule is Monday-Friday.
Participates in a rotation of call during the week and on weekends with other team members.
May assist with hospital on-call coverage at times on weekends and holidays.
Floating Requirements:
Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between the following sites: Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital. The Carle Leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations.
7 days maximum time off. Maximum consecutive days off: 3
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
Driver's license required
Certifications:
• RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI)) or the alternative certification ACS
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
