Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Experience:

• 3 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked at a facility in this program in the last 9 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Clinicians who live within 51-75 miles from the facility will be considered local.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Ability to perform DSE/ESE is preferred.

Shift & Scheduling: Two weekend days per month required. No holidays. Rotating shifts and work during inclement weather will be required. Call is required.

Unit Details: Adult patient population. Inpatient and outpatient settings. The unit performs complete and limited echocardiograms, dobutamine stress echo, and exercise stress echo. Patient population includes all cardiac diagnoses, stroke, chemo, OB, pre-op, infectious disease, and traumas, etc. The unit also has a robust Structural Heart Program performing TAVRs, TMVRs, TTVRs, TriClip, and TEERs. Average workload is 8 echos per 8hr shift.

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 3 years

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certifications RCS, ACS
