Pay Rate: $300–$320/hour | $2,800/day | $635/night call shift | $400/hour call-back
Facility Type: Outpatient Clinic
Schedule: 1 Week/Month | 10-Hour Day Shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
About the Opportunity
An outpatient clinic in Bellingham, WA is seeking a General Cardiologist for a locum assignment covering 1 week per month. This role involves rounding, admissions, and general cardiology procedures for adult patients, with an average of 8-10 patients per day. Call includes an anticipated 2 weeknight calls during the assignment week, with potential 24-hour weekend call as needed (4 hours gratis included).
Responsibilities
Provide General Cardiology coverage, including rounding and admissions
See an average of 8-10 adult patients per day
Perform full-spectrum EP procedures, from pacemakers to ablations
Perform general cardioversions and TEEs (approximately 2-4 TEEs per shift)
Provide weeknight call coverage (approximately 2 nights per week-long stretch) and potential 24-hour weekend call as needed
Requirements
MD/DO required
Board Certified in General Cardiology
Active Washington state license required (IMLC accepted; willing to license depending on start date)
ACLS certification required
BLS certification required
ARNP certification required
Required clinical activity within the last 24 months (case logs required)
EMR experience with EPIC
Weeknight call: ~2 nights per assignment week
Weekend call: 24-hour, as needed (includes 4 gratis hours)
