Job description
Nebraska Medicine, the state’s premier academic health system, is seeking a Non-Invasive or Invasive Cardiologist to join the Clarkson Heart Center in Omaha. Whether your interests are primarily clinical or include procedural work, this is an opportunity to build a practice within a high-volume, collaborative environment backed by the resources of a leading academic medical center. As a Nebraska Medicine employed physician, you will join a respected cardiovascular team.
Opportunity Highlights Flexible Practice Scope: Opportunity to build a practice aligned with your training -non-invasive or invasive- with strong procedural and diagnostic support
Established, High-Volume Program: Join a respected team of cardiologists in a busy, well-supported clinical environment with consistent referral volume
Advanced Clinical Infrastructure: Access to state-of-the-art cardiac cath and interventional labs, echo, nuclear imaging, and a dedicated device clinic
Academic Integration: Partner with the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) with opportunities for teaching, mentorship, and academic engagement
Strong APP Support: Experienced advanced practice providers enhance care delivery, efficiency, and patient access
Balanced Call Structure: 1:4 call with weekday coverage at a primary site and weekend coverage across nearby locations
