Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Cardiologist to join our medical team in Port Huron, Michigan. This full-time role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive cardiovascular care to a diverse patient population while working in a supportive, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities
Perform thorough patient assessments, including medical histories, physical exams, and cardiovascular diagnostic testing
Diagnose and manage a broad range of heart conditions, including coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, and congestive heart failure
Design and execute individualized treatment plans based on each patient’s clinical needs
Conduct diagnostic and interventional procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, angioplasty, and pacemaker insertions
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to optimize outcomes
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to deliver coordinated patient care
Stay informed on advancements in cardiology research, technology, and best practices
Participate in clinical research or quality improvement initiatives as applicable
Required Skills & Experience
Proficiency with cardiology imaging and diagnostic tools, including CT and related technologies
Experience working with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Knowledge of emergency cardiac care protocols
Strong ability to interpret vital signs and cardiovascular diagnostic results
Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiology
Active Michigan medical license or eligibility for licensure
Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach
