Job description Med Ninjas is seeking a Board-Certified Electrophysiology Physician for locum tenens coverage at an acute care hospital and outpatient cardiac clinic located in Canton, Ohio.
The Physician must be available for the coverage period beginning November 2, 2026 . The job duration is listed as 13, with the unit not specified.
This assignment includes outpatient clinic, inpatient rounding and consults, EP lab procedures, EKG interpretation, and support for an inpatient service.
Locum Physician Electrophysiology Canton, OH
Shift: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (facility schedule; confirm as portal shift details also list 7:00 PM 7:00 AM)

Position Details: Electrophysiology coverage including clinic, procedures, inpatient consult service, hospital rounding, and EKG interpretation
Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
Setting: Cardiac outpatient clinic and acute care hospital, Adult Level II/III/IV trauma
Responsibilities: Outpatient clinic, EP procedures, inpatient rounding and consults, EKG interpretation, syncope evaluations, and remote device monitoring
Required Procedures: EP studies, catheter ablation, cardioversion, implantable cardiac devices, and other EP procedures
EMR System: Epic (preferred experience)
Support Staff: 1 APP providing inpatient support; 2 EP labs available, with 1 on-staff EP provider
Days Per Month: Not specified
On-Call/Weekends: Facility overview indicates no call. Other schedule notes reference weeknight call and 24-hour weekend call; call expectations and rates require confirmation.
Required Procedures and Skills Electrophysiology studies and catheter ablation
Cardioversion and implantable cardiac device procedures
Syncope evaluations and remote monitoring devices
Genetic testing and EKG interpretation
Inpatient consults, hospital rounding, and outpatient EP clinic coverage
Experience with Abbott EnSite mapping system
Requirements Board Certified in Cardiology
Board Certified in Electrophysiology
Ohio medical license required; IMLC accepted, and willing-to-license candidates considered
ACLS and BLS certifications required
DEA and Ohio CSR required
Clean background required
Additional Details:
Clinic coverage: 2 days per week, Monday and Tuesday
EP lab procedures: 3 days per week, Wednesday through Friday
Approximately 14 clinic patients, 2 days per week
No telemedicine required
Local providers preferred; candidates should be located domestically
Orientation is billable at half the bill rate
Listed bill rate: $4,500/day (provider compensation not specified)
