Opportunity:
Physician - Electrophysiology
Job Details:
Electrophysiology specialty coverage needed for specific dates in December
Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; no call required
Coverage needed up to 40 hours per week, once per month and as needed for vacation coverage
Support staff includes 1 assigned clinical team for outpatient and 1 assigned APP for inpatient
Outpatient volume of approximately 16 patients per day; inpatient volume of 10-15 patients per day
Patient population ranges from ages 18 to 100
EMR system: EPIC
Hospital bed size: 270
Procedures include: Pacemaker implant, ICD implant (traditional and sub-Q), loop recorder implant and/or explant, and ablations including AVN, SVT, and atrial flutter
Practice settings include academic/training, clinic/private practice, and hospital
Board certification or board eligibility required
Active PA license or IMLC Letter of Qualification required
DEA required
ACLS/BLS certifications required

This facility is a full-service community hospital offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient medical services, including specialized cardiac and electrophysiology care. With 270 beds and an academic and clinical practice environment, the facility supports multidisciplinary teams dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care. The electrophysiology department is well-equipped to handle a broad scope of cardiac procedures in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
