Cardiac Electrophysiologist

Location: Towson, Maryland

Coverage Type: Scheduled Procedural Coverage / No Call
Start Date: October 13, 2026
Expected Duration: Ongoing
Coverage Need: Approximately 1-2 Shifts Per Week
Estimated Shifts: Approximately 6 Per Month
EMR: Epic
Compensation:
Hourly - $3580 per 24 hours
Schedule
Shift Hours: 7:00 AM-5:00 PM
Approximately 1-2 Shifts Per Week
Approximately 6 Shifts Per Month
No Call

Clinical Responsibilities
Provide Cardiac Electrophysiology Lab Coverage
Perform Pre-Procedure Assessments
Perform Scheduled Electrophysiology Procedures
Remain Available as Clinically Appropriate During Post-Procedure Recovery
Perform Catheter Ablations Based on Experience, Skill Set, and Credentials
Perform Cardiac Implantable Electronic Device Procedures Based on Experience, Skill Set, and Credentials
Limited Outpatient Clinic Coverage May Be Available Based on Operational Needs and Provider Availability
Outpatient Responsibilities May Include New and Follow-Up Consultations
Review ECGs
Interpret Cardiac Monitors
Review Implanted Cardiac Devices
Required Procedures / Skills
Cardiac Electrophysiology Procedures
Catheter Ablation Experience - Preferred
Cardiac Implantable Electronic Device Procedure Experience - Preferred
Procedural Responsibilities May Be Tailored Based on Provider Experience, Skill Set, and Credentials
Clinical Environment / Support
Established Electrophysiology Team
EP Nurses
EP Technologists
Advanced Practice Providers / Mid-Level Staff
221-Bed Hospital
Provider May Work Independently
Epic EMR
Requirements
Board Certified - Required
Active Maryland Medical License - Required at Time of Application
Active Maryland License Must Be in Hand for Consideration
IMLC Accepted
DEA Registration - Required
Maryland CSR License - Required
ACLS - Required
Minimum of 2 Years of Experience - Required
Credentialing
Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 30 Days
