Position Highlights
Work directly with Electrophysiologist and Interventional Cardiologist
Join a team of 4 experienced Cardiology APPs
Blend of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
Participate in management of complex cardiac patients
Strong team-based care model with physician collaboration
Structured onboarding and mentorship
Monday–Friday schedule with shared call responsibilities
Clinical Responsibilities
Evaluate and manage patients with cardiovascular conditions
Provide care in both clinic and hospital settings
Support EP and Interventional services including: Arrhythmia management
Post-procedure care (pacemakers, ablations, cath lab cases)
Heart disease management
Perform rounding, consults, and follow-up care
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and care coordinators
Educate patients on treatment plans and lifestyle modifications
Qualifications
Certified Nurse Practitioner (FNP/AGNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C)
Eligible for Iowa licensure
Cardiology experience preferred; however: Candidates with strong acute care or internal medicine backgrounds are encouraged to apply
Interest in EP and Interventional Cardiology preferred
Strong clinical judgment and team collaboration skills
