Experienced Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist - Eastern North Carolina 80 Miles to Raleigh & Coast
Opportunity Highlights
Join an established advanced heart failure & mechanical circulatory support program
Employed position within a large, physician-led academic health system
Academic affiliation with a medical school and teaching opportunities available
Work alongside a multidisciplinary HF team (HF cardiologists, surgeon, APPs, pharmacist, social worker, specialized nurses)
Advanced program includes: LVAD, ECMO, CardioMEMS, pulmonary hypertension clinic, clinical trials
Invasive procedures include heart catheterization and CardioMEMS
Large regional referral base ( 1.5 million population)
Qualifications
BC/BE in Cardiology with Advanced Heart Failure fellowship training required
ABIM certification in Advanced Heart Failure & Transplant Cardiology
