Locum Tenens - Interventional CardiologistLocation: Dixon, IllinoisPosition Type: Part-Time Locum Tenens
Availability & ScheduleCoverage Needed: 2 weekends per month
Estimated Shifts: 6 per month
Coverage Dates: November 26-29
On-Call Schedule:
November 26: Night call, 5:00 PM-7:00 AM
November 27: 24-hour call, 7:00 AM-7:00 AM
November 28: 24-hour call, 7:00 AM-7:00 AM
November 29: 24-hour call, 7:00 AM-7:00 AM
Call Response Time: 30 minutes
Expected Callbacks: 0-4 per day
Rounding Requirements: 4-5 hours each Saturday and Sunday
On-Site Requirements: Rounding and procedures; otherwise, available on call
Candidate Preference: Local candidates preferred
Licensure & CredentialsBoard Status: Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible
Active Illinois Medical License: Required to apply
DEA: Required
CSR: Required
IMLC Candidates: Not accepted
Minimum Experience: 1 year
Certifications: ACLS required
Clinical ResponsibilitiesProvide both interventional and general cardiology services.
Respond to emergent patient care calls, consultations, and procedural needs.
Round on patients during the weekend.
Deliver timely, high-quality patient care during call coverage.
Complete detailed documentation of patient encounters and interventions.
Credentialing RequirementsCandidates must be fully committed and ready to begin credentialing immediately.
An active Illinois license is mandatory .
