Job description
We are seeking a Board Certified Interventional Cardiologist for a locum opportunity in Fenton, Missouri, beginning November 2026. This assignment offers a concentrated schedule of approximately one week per month with inpatient rounding, interventional procedures, and call coverage.

Five 8-hour shifts per week
7:00 AM 3:00 PM
One night of call
Weekend call required
Two gratis hours
Practice Setting
Acute care hospital
Inpatient Interventional Cardiology
Adult patients 18+
Epic EMR
Inpatient rounding and call coverage
Patient Volume
Approximately 9 patients daily
Census may reach approximately 15 depending on volume and physician coverage
Procedures
Left heart catheterization
Right heart catheterization
PCI
TEE
Loop procedures
Support Staff
APP support during daytime inpatient coverage
APP support for weekend rounding
RN Navigator
Requirements
Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology
Interventional Cardiology fellowship required
Active Missouri license or qualifying compact/IMLC licensure
ACLS & BLS required
Epic experience required
Credentialing & Submission
CV must list education and employment in MM/YY MM/YY format
Employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained
Background issues require first- and third-party documentation
Ideal Candidate
An experienced Interventional Cardiologist interested in a one-week-per-month locum schedule who is comfortable combining inpatient rounding, cath lab procedures, and weekend/overnight call.
