Job Summary

Full‑time Interventional Cardiologist (clinical academic appointment) at UPMC Heart & Vascular Institute (HVI) in New Castle, Pennsylvania. Eligible candidates from 2026 or 2027, visa support available.

Responsibilities

Provide interventional cardiology services including diagnostic and interventional heart catheterizations, transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), cardioversions, temporary and permanent pacemakers, intra‑aortic balloon pumps, and peripheral angiograms/interventions.

Participate in 24/7 STEMI coverage with the UPMC Jameson and Pittsburgh interventional team.

Collaborate with electrophysiology, heart‑failure, vascular surgery, thoracic surgery, and cardiothoracic surgery colleagues for comprehensive patient care.

Mentor and supervise advanced practice providers and medical trainees.

Qualifications

Board certification in Cardiology.

Valid Pennsylvania medical license.

Proven experience in interventional cardiology practices.
