Interventional Cardiologist - Kinston, NC The OpportunitySeeking a BE/BC Interventional Cardiologist to join a growing cardiology program in Kinston, NC Äî a full-time, employed position with a brand-new cath lab and the opportunity to help build interventional services for a community with significant patient need. Position available due to planned replacement, with flexibility for start date and scope of practice.Open to experienced physicians and new graduates with strong institutional support. Practice DetailsMix of Interventional and General Cardiology depending on candidate interest and skill set
Procedures include PCI, with future plans for STEMI coverage and potential growth in
peripheral and structural heart servicesJoin a team of 1 Interventional Cardiologist, 2 Non-Invasive Cardiologists, and APP support
with plans to add additional APP coverageAPPs manage their own clinic panels and support inpatient consults
New cath lab equipped with Philips Azurion technology, Shockwave, pacemakers, and stents
No onsite CV surgery; transfer agreement in place with ECU Health in Greenville
Beeper call only Äî no in-house call required
14 days of call shared with cardiology partners and community providers
Typical Schedule: Clinic five days per week
One blocked procedure morning
Average 26 patients per day
4 hours of protected administrative time

QualificationsBoard Eligible or Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology
Fellowship trained in Interventional Cardiology
