Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Interventional Cardiology in Mechanicsville, VA Join a dedicated healthcare team at a modern facility in Mechanicsville, Virginia. This opportunity offers coverage from December 18 to January 1, with a focus on inpatient care and call responsibilities. Our state-of-the-art center is fully equipped to handle a diverse range of cardiovascular procedures, supporting a robust and collaborative community of medical professionals.
Job Responsibilities: Provide interventional cardiology services, including balloon angioplasties, coronary angioplasty, and heart catheterization.
Conduct medical management of vascular diseases and perform coronary angiograms.
Participate in on-call rotations, managing both routine and emergent cases.
Coordinate with other interventional cardiologists and healthcare providers during coverage.
Document patient interactions and procedures in the EPIC system.
Maintain high standards of patient care for adult and geriatric populations.
Qualifications:
Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Active Virginia state medical license.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Ability to handle a minimum of two daily inpatient admissions.
License and Certification Requirements: Board Certification - Required

Active Virginia State License - Required
Clean malpractice history - Required
Must be available for the specified dates - No exceptions
