Job description

Opportunity:

Physician - Internal Medicine - Invasive Cardiology

Job Details:

Provide inpatient and outpatient invasive cardiology coverage with both clinic and call responsibilities

Schedule includes hospital onsite and clinic hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with weeknight beeper call from 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM

Weekend coverage includes 24-hour beeper call responsibilities

Coverage needed for 1-2 weeks including 1-2 weekends with flexible scheduling

Minimum of 7-14 shifts per month required with 8 guaranteed hours per day

Expected patient encounters of 7-9 patients per shift

Experience with cardioversion, transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs), and stress echocardiograms required

Proficiency in reading echocardiograms, EKGs, and stress echocardiograms required

Nuclear reads experience preferred but not required

Board certification required; active license and DEA required

BLS and ACLS certifications required

Providers will undergo a phone screening with the lead physician followed by a virtual team interview
