Locums Interventional Cardiology VA Position Type: Locum Tenens
Coverage Reason: Open requisition
Practice Setting: Inpatient with call
EMR: Epic
Required Qualifications Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology (required)
Active Virginia medical license (required no exceptions; will not accept candidates willing to obtain)
Active DEA (required)
BLS & ACLS certification (required)
Self-Query NPDB Report (required at time of presentation; must be dated within 30 days)
Preferred Qualifications Fellowship trained in Interventional Cardiology (highly preferred)
Job Details Call Coverage: Specific dates as scheduled (no fixed call ratio)
Patient Population: Adult geriatric
Clinic Volume: N/A
Number of Interventional Cardiologists on Site: None during locum coverage
Supervision Responsibilities: None required
