Interventional Cardiology Locum Tenens Physician - Electrophysiology (EP Lab) in Towson, MD Join a high-acuity interventional cardiology locum tenens physician opportunity in Towson, Maryland, supporting a collaborative cardiac electrophysiology program in a well-equipped hospital setting. This role centers on EP lab coverage with flexibility to assist with limited outpatient cardiology needs based on program demand. Job Details Position Type: Locum tenens physician Specialty Focus: Interventional Cardiology / Cardiac Electrophysiology Setting: Hospital-based EP lab with possible outpatient clinic coverage Location: Towson, Maryland Start Date: October 13, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Weekly Estimated Pay: $6,270 - $7,420 Schedule: Flexible coverage based on program needs Job Requirements Minimum of 1 year of physician experience preferred MD or DO degree required Board certification or strong clinical experience in Interventional Cardiology or Cardiac Electrophysiology Experience performing or supporting EP procedures in a lab setting Comfort with pre-procedure assessment and post-procedure recovery management Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and technologists Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills Responsibilities Provide primary coverage in the electrophysiology lab Participate in pre-procedure evaluation and day-of-procedure assessment Perform scheduled EP procedures alongside the care team Remain available for clinically appropriate support during post-procedure recovery Assist with limited outpatient cardiology responsibilities as needed, including consultations, ECG review, cardiac monitor interpretation, and implanted device review Work closely with the established EP team to support safe, efficient patient care Apply now to join this rewarding Maryland cardiology locum tenens opportunity in Towson and help support high-quality electrophysiology care.
