Non-Invasive Cardiology Opportunity - Albany & Troy, NY Quick Screening Snapshot Location: Albany & Troy, New YorkPosition Type: Full-time, employed cardiologistSchedule Options: Weekend rounding only (Fri-Sun, 12 PM - 12 AM)Traditional hospital/clinic role (40-hour week, 1:5 call, outpatient clinics 2-3x/month)Hospital-only shift-based role (7-on/7-off, 7 AM - 7 PM, team coverage by day, solo evenings) Call: 1:5 weekend rotation; telephone support overnight; occasional in-person coverageClinic Volume: Average 20-25 patients per 8-hour clinic dayHospital Rounds: Team responsible for 50-60 patients daily Licensure & Credentialing Requirements Board Certification: Internal Medicine required at startBoard Eligible: Truly BE acceptedNew Hires: Must obtain Board Certification within 2 yearsState License: New YorkCertifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, DEA Candidate Requirements Open to 2026 new graduatesNot accepting locums candidatesNot open to visa sponsorship1099 candidates consideredNo lapsed Board Certification acceptedNot clearing names for 2027 fellows at this time Clinical Role Overview Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient cardiology careParticipate in hospital rounding and outpatient clinics (as per chosen schedule)Collaborate with multidisciplinary cardiology team across multiple hospitalsUtilize Epic EMR for patient documentationMaintain compliance with all credentialing and institutional policies Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary Bonuses: $75,000 starting bonus$25,000 retention bonus$25,000 relocation bonus (if applicable) Additional Incentives: Productivity, quality/performance incentives, extra shift payBenefits: Health, dental, vision, and life insuranceRetirement plansPaid time offCME allowanceEligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)Short- and long-term disability optionsEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Special discounts for system employees Shift & Call Details Weekend rounding: Fri-Sun, 12 PM - 12 AMHospital rounding every 5th weekend (Sat & Sun)Telephone support overnight; rare in-person due to 24/7 in-house supportHospital-only shifts: 7-on/7-off, 7 AM - 7 PM, no clinic RecruitWell's Core Values:
