Seeking a BE/BC Non-Interventional Cardiologist to join a skilled team in Rapid City, South Dakota!
Details:
Ideal candidate would provide patient-centered, high-quality cardiovascular care in both the inpatient and the outpatient setting
Duties include outpatient cardiology consultation, inpatient cardiology consultation with generous hospitalist/intensivist support, interpretation of transthoracic echo, transesophageal echo, nuclear stress tests, and stress echos.
Advanced cardiac imaging skills, including cardiac CT, cardiac MRI, PET/CT, and vascular duplex interpretation, would be desirable but are not required.
Team consists of: 6 Non-Interventional Cardiologists,
5 Interventional Cardiologists
1 Electrophysiologist
2 Cardiothoracic Surgeons
1 Heart Failure & Transplant Cardiologist
Highly experienced and dedicated team of over 25 dedicated advanced practitioners to assist with both inpatient and outpatient management of patients, including nocturnal inpatient support
Duties are divided equally amongst the Cardiologists, including call
All night call is home call
In-house nocturnal APP support for night call coverage
Approximate weeknight call coverage is 1 in 6 with week-long inpatient rotation approximately 1 in 6 weeks
Alternating 2-physician day-call/rounds coverage during inpatient rotation with robust inpatient APP support
Dedicated read days for interpreting inpatient and outpatient cardiac studies
No clinic while on inpatient rotation
Maximum expected daily clinic volume is 16 patients per day
Serves a five-state region with a catchment area of 428,000
Newly constructed 4-story facility
Expansive outreach program to surrounding communities with 7 established outreach sites
Comprehensive cardiovascular services lines that include interventional, structural, electrophysiology, advanced heart failure, vascular medicine, vascular, thoracic and cardiothoracic surgery.
Dedicated Structural heart program offering transcatheter aortic valve replacement, left atrial appendage occlusion, PFO/ASD closure, MitraClip, TriClip, and transcatheter mitral valve implantation
Annual volumes: 500+ Cardiac, Thoracic, and Vascular Surgery
3,200+ Cath Lab Procedures Including 220 Structural Heart Interventions
11,000+ EP Lab Procedures 600+ Ablation
2 fully functional hybrid suits, 2 cath labs, 2 EP labs, vascular hybrid OR (in construction)
Comprehensive Cardiovascular Quality Assessment/Quality Improvement (GA/GI) Program with active registry participation
Active and robust cardiovascular clinical research program with opportunities for involvement in 40-50 cardiovascular research studies at any given time. The program has successfully participated in over 300 trials to date. Our site consistently ranks in the top 10% for enrollment and performance metrics.

Two-year income base salary guarantee of $625k annually
