Invasive Non-Interventional Cardiologist Location: Sarasota, Florida
Employment Type: Full-Time
Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Invasive Non-Interventional Cardiologist to join our growing cardiovascular team in Sarasota, Florida. This position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive cardiovascular care in both outpatient and inpatient settings while performing diagnostic invasive cardiac procedures and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to excellence in heart and vascular care.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in the diagnosis and management of cardiovascular diseases and be comfortable performing invasive diagnostic procedures while delivering exceptional patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions.
Perform invasive diagnostic cardiac procedures, including right and left heart catheterizations and coronary angiography.
Interpret echocardiograms, stress tests, Holter monitors, event monitors, and other cardiovascular diagnostic studies.
Develop individualized treatment plans for patients with coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, valvular heart disease, hypertension, and other cardiac conditions.
Provide inpatient consultations and outpatient follow-up care.
Collaborate closely with interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, primary care physicians, and advanced practice providers.
Participate in cardiovascular quality initiatives and evidence-based care programs.
Educate patients and families regarding cardiovascular health, disease prevention, and treatment options.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Qualifications MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.
Completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship.
Active Florida medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure.
Proficiency in invasive diagnostic cardiac procedures.
Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills.
Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered cardiovascular care.
Compensation & Benefits Compensation Annual Salary: $450,000 $700,000
