NP/PA Cardiology opening in Charlottesville, VA Located in Charlottesville, VA - Richmond 70mFull-time; PermanentEmployedSeeking NP or PA Overview: Seeking Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with Cardiology experience preferred Mix of inpatient and outpatient cardiology care Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM; Friday 8:00 AM-2:00 PM No call responsibilities Average volume: 16 patients/day in clinic, 5-6 in hospital Support general cardiology across care settings Collaborate with team of cardiologists and APPs Work alongside 7 physicians, 1 APP, and 30 support staff Exposure to general, interventional, and electrophysiology cardiology Strong team-based, patient-centered environment Comp/Benefits: Competitive compensation package Annual quality performance incentive ( $5,000) Student loan reimbursement ( $10,000 annually) Malpractice coverage with tail CME allowance ($3,000 annually) Retirement plan with employer match Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Group/Facility Info: Established, physician-led cardiology group Integrated healthcare system with strong regional presence Multidisciplinary cardiology program (general, invasive, EP, interventional) Robust clinical and administrative support team Fully integrated EMR (Epic) Non-profit organization with long-term stability and provider support About the Area: Charlottesville is a vibrant and scenic city in central Virginia, known for its rich history, strong academic presence, and thriving arts and food scene.
