Job description

This is an exciting opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Cardiology to join a reputable facility in Everett, WA, on a locum tenens basis. The role involves providing inpatient coverage in a collaborative environment with another provider, catering to the adult patient population. This position offers flexible scheduling with shifts available to suit your lifestyle, including day and nighttime hours.

Start Date: December 22, 2026

Schedule: Flexible 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM or 8:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 14-21 shifts per month, no on-call

Patient Population: Adult

Location: Everett, WA

Stipends: Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates

Job Responsibilities Provide high-quality inpatient cardiology care alongside another provider.

Manage an adult patient case load of approximately 18-20 encounters per shift.

Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications Active nurse practitioner license or ability to obtain one through IMLC.

Board certification in Cardiology.

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Experience in inpatient cardiology settings preferred.

Working Hours Shifts available: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 7:00 PM - 8:00 AM, or 8:00 PM - 7:00 AM.

14-21 shifts per month.

Skills Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.

Competence in managing complex cardiology cases.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced inpatient environment.

Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR).
