Adult and Geriatric Patients
100% Adult Patient Population
Approximately 20-25 Patients Per Day
80% Inpatient / 20% Outpatient
Majority of Coverage Focused on Inpatient Cardiology Rounding
Clinical Responsibilities
Provide Inpatient and Outpatient Cardiology Care
Participate in Inpatient Cardiology Rounds With Physicians
Evaluate and Manage Cardiology Follow-Up Patients
Monitor Patient Progress and Treatment Plans
Provide Patient Discharge Instructions
Manage Post-Procedure Cardiology Care
Coordinate Patient Care With Physicians and the Clinical Team
Support Continuity of Care for Hospitalized Cardiology Patients
Participate in Leadership and Teaching Responsibilities

Requirements
Board Certified - Required
AANP Certification for Nurse Practitioners or NCCPA Certification for Physician Assistants
Active Michigan License at Time of Name Clear - Required
Minimum 3 Years of Clinical Experience in Inpatient and Outpatient Cardiology - Required
Acute Care Training - Preferred
ACLS Through the American Heart Association - Required
BLS Through the American Heart Association - Required
DEA - Required
Clean Background - Required
No Malpractice or Medical License Issues - Required
Epic EMR Experience - Preferred
Must Be Comfortable Managing Adult and Geriatric Cardiology Patients
Must Be Available for a 7-Days-On / 7-Days-Off Schedule
Local Candidates Preferred
Credentialing
Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90-120 Days
Active Michigan License Required at Name Clear
