Overview
OSF HealthCare is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our growing Cardiology team in Danville, Illinois. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced cardiologists in a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality cardiovascular care to patients throughout the region. The APP will provide comprehensive cardiology services in an outpatient clinic setting, with potential inpatient responsibilities based on departmental needs. This role offers autonomy, strong physician collaboration, and the ability to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes. Position Highlights Join an established and respected Cardiology practice
Primarily outpatient cardiology care
Collaborative, team-based approach with experienced cardiologists
Manage patients with a wide spectrum of cardiovascular conditions

Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop treatment plans
Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic tests and laboratory results
Provide patient education regarding cardiovascular disease prevention and management
Coordinate care with cardiologists, primary care providers, and other specialists
Document encounters accurately and efficiently in the EMR
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental activities
Qualifications Required: Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
Current Illinois licensure or eligibility for Illinois licensure
National certification as an NP or PA
Current DEA registration or eligibility
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred: Previous cardiology, internal medicine, emergency medicine, hospitalist, or related clinical experience
Experience managing patients with cardiovascular disease

Clinical base hourly pay range for this position: $55.20 - $70.09 Range shown should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by many factors including but not limited to the critical need of the position, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Licensed to provide Advanced Practice Nurse Services or Physician Assistant Services Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and State of Illinois for prescribing of narcotics PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
