Job description
SSM Health Heart & Vascular Care Heart Care Fenton, MO SSM Health is recruiting for a full-time cardiology nurse practitioner or physician assistant. This role is critical to improving patient outcomes and reducing hospital readmissions.
Opportunity:
Join an established and growing department of five cardiologists and three APPs.
100% inpatient rounding and stress lab supervision.
Monday-Friday schedule with no nights or call.
Optional weekend coverage is available if desired for extra pay.
Anticipate 5-10 new patient consults and 20 follow up patients daily split up between the existing APPs.
Clinic is attached to SSM Health St. Clare Hospital
Minimum Qualifications:
Masters degree from an accredited nurse practitioner or physician assistant program.
Certified nurse practitioner or physician assistant.
Active Missouri RN & APRN licensure (NP) or Missouri physician assistant license or ability to obtain.
Prefer experience in cardiology or new/recent graduates with rotations in cardiology.
