Opportunity:
Physician - Interventional Cardiology
Job Details:
Provide inpatient interventional cardiology coverage on a 24-hour beeper call basis, with shifts running 7am to 7am
Must have several years of experience in interventional cardiology; new graduates will not be considered
Practice split will be approximately 75% interventional and 25% noninvasive cardiology
NUC reading and NUC activity will be required
Expected patient volume of 10-15 encounters per shift
Active California medical license required; licensed in CA only
Active DEA registration required
Board Certified or Board Eligible within 3-5 years of residency required
Active Fluoroscopy (FLURO) certification is required
ACLS and BLS certifications required
Must have a minimum of 2 years of current hospital clinical activity in the specialty
Any gaps greater than 3 months in clinical activity must be explained
Current case logs must be included upon presentation
Updated CV with all hospital affiliations must be submitted with bid
Estimated credentialing timeframe is 60-90 days
Long-term housing assistance available, with approval up to $3,500 per month
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
