Opportunity:
Physician - Internal Medicine - Cardiology
Job Details:
Locum Tenens coverage providing both inpatient and outpatient cardiology services
Coverage needed for 1-2 weeks including 1-2 weekends, with flexible dates
Onsite hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with weeknight beeper call from 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM
Weekend coverage involves 24-hour beeper call
7 to 14 shifts per month required with 8 guaranteed hours per day
Expected patient encounters per shift: 7 to 9 patients
Board certification required; BLS and ACLS certifications required
Active DEA required
Fellowship required
Experience required with cardioversion, transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs), and stress echocardiograms
Must be proficient in reading echocardiograms, EKGs, and stress echocardiograms
Nuclear reads preferred but not required
Required skills include outpatient cardiology, inpatient cardiology, ICU, non-invasive cardiology, echocardiography, TEE, and cardiac catheterization
Trauma Level 3 facility
Candidates willing to obtain an Oregon license will be considered
