Locums Invasive Cardiology Medford, OR (Active OR License Required) Why This Role Ongoing coverage beginning January 2027
Flexible commitment of one to two weeks per month
Combination of hospital, clinic, and call coverage
Approximately 7 Äì9 patients per shift
Two cardiologists needed
Assignment Details Location: Medford, Oregon
Start Date: January 1, 2027
End Date: Ongoing
Commitment: Approximately 7 Äì14 shifts or one to two weeks per month
Weekend Coverage: One to two weekends per month
Daytime Schedule: 8:00 AM Äì5:00 PM onsite
Weeknight Call: Beeper call from 5:00 PM Äì8:00 AM
Weekend Call: 24-hour beeper call
Call Response Time: Approximately 15 Äì20 minutes
Setting: Inpatient and outpatient
EMR: Epic
Credentialing: Approximately 90 days
Temporary Privileges: Not available
Hospital Privileges: Required
Guaranteed Hours: Eight hours per scheduled day
Requirements Board-certified Cardiologist
Active Oregon medical license
Active DEA registration
Active ACLS and BLS certifications
Experience with:
- Cardioversion - Transesophageal echocardiography - Stress echocardiography - Echocardiogram interpretation - EKG interpretation - Stress-test interpretationCurrent CV required at submission
Must provide availability for interviews during the next two weeks
Preferred Nuclear cardiology interpretation experience
Clinical Details Approximately 7 Äì9 patients per shift
Level III trauma environment
Support includes:
- 1 RN - 5 Medical Assistants - 7 office staff membersNo APP supervision or teaching responsibilities
Initial physician screening followed by a virtual team interview
