Responsibilities Performing comprehensive patient evaluations, including reviewing medical histories, conducting physical examinations, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
Providing diagnosis and treatment for various cardiovascular conditions such as heart disease, arrhythmias, hypertension, and heart failure.
Managing medication prescriptions and monitoring their efficacy, adjusting treatment plans as needed to enhance patient outcomes.
Conducting and interpreting non-invasive cardiac tests like electrocardiograms (ECGs), echocardiograms, and stress tests.
Offering guidance on lifestyle adjustments including exercise routines, dietary habits, and stress management techniques to promote heart health and prevent disease progression.
Coordinating patient care with other medical specialists such as cardiovascular surgeons, interventional cardiologists, and primary care physicians to ensure comprehensive treatment.
Requirements Board certification in Cardiology.
Valid New York medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
Strong clinical skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to staying updated with the latest advancements in cardiology.
