The facility supports a collaborative interventional cardiology program with an existing group of cardiologists and strong institutional support for locum providers.

Opportunity:

Board Certified - Interventional Cardiology

Job Details:

Locum Interventional Cardiologist coverage with availability of 3-7 days per month

Coverage dates include: Nov 23-26, Dec 1-4, and Dec 29-Jan 1

Practice setting is Inpatient/EMTALA Call with no ambulatory or clinic work required

Adult patient population

Documentation system/EMR: Epic Cupid

Required procedures include Balloon Angioplasties, Coronary Angioplasty, Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI), Heart Catheterization, and Coronary Angiograms

Expected to respond to ALL cardiology calls for the hospital

General Cardiology consults as needed

Reading studies to include EKG, ECHOs, and Stress Tests (including nuclear stress)

Active Kentucky license required; IMLC considered if provider has 3-7 days/month availability

Board Certification required

Active DEA required

ACLS required

Must list availability for specified coverage dates at time of name clear
