Job description
The Providence Heart Institute in Portland, Oregon, the highest volume provider of cardiovascular services in the region, is seeking to hire a board-certified/board-eligible Cardiac Surgeon for their flagship program at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center.
Join 4 established surgeons performing over 800 cases per year, including transplant and LVAD
Leading program in complex transcatheter valve/structural heart procedures
High volume cardiogenic shock/MCS program
Advanced interventional cardiology and electrophysiology services
Excellent support with APC's, dedicated CICU and 24/7cardiac intensivists
A robust portfolio of clinical trials as well as opportunities for investigator-initiated research exist through CARDS (Center for Cardiovascular Research and Data Science).

In addition, the program is a hub for vast data registries in cardiovascular care, including the Center for Cardiovascular Analytics, Research and Data Science (CARDS). This state-of-the-art institute is a leader in new therapies, and consistently receives national recognition, including the American Heart Association's "Get With The Guidelines" designation for coronary artery disease care.
