Job description
We are seeking a Board Certified Cardiologist for a long-term locum opportunity in Northern New York. The client is seeking one physician able to provide consistent coverage 3 weeks per month for a 6 9 month assignment.
Assignment Details
Start: ASAP (anticipated early August after credentialing)
Assignment Length: 6 9 months
Consistent coverage preferred
One provider covering 3 weeks/month strongly preferred
Schedule
Monday Thursday
8:00 AM 6:00 PM
Coverage required 3 weeks per month
Call Coverage
Night call as needed
4:00 PM 8:00 AM
Used primarily to fill coverage gaps
Practice Setting
General Cardiology
Acute Care Hospital + Outpatient Clinic
Solo physician practice environment
Epic EMR
Clinical Responsibilities
Outpatient cardiology clinic
Hospital consults service coverage
Stress test supervision
General cardiology evaluations and follow-up care
Additional Clinical Preferences
Nuclear stress test interpretation preferred
Cardiac imaging interpretation experience preferred
Board certification for cardiac imaging studies preferred but not required
Support Structure
APP support available initially
Independent practice environment
Mix of clinic and hospital responsibilities
Requirements
Board Certified Cardiologist
Active New York license required
Epic experience required
AHA or RQI certifications required
5+ years of experience preferred
Clean, updated work history required
Credentialing
Standard credentialing process
Orientation required
